Workshop Programme:

14.00–14.30   Introduction of Quant

Petr Kavánek, CEO Quant Retail, will introduce Quant. He will show live the Quant Web environment used for communication between headquarters and stores and Quant Desktop, where key users optimize store layouts, create planograms and evaluate the impact of changes.

14.30–15.00   Notino case study

Jérôme Poussin, Head of new commercial channels, will describe how Quant was deployed at Notino, what were the main motivations for introducing centralised space planning and category management, and how Quant has helped with the opening of new stores. Mention will also be made of the use of the store photo documentation tool, which is an optional part of Quant.

15.00–15.30  Case study Orkla Foods Czech Republic and Slovakia

Monika Holásková, Category and Business Development Manager, will share the benefits of moving to a centralized, multi-user planogram tool, which Quant is. You will learn how the logic and needs of creating planograms for manufacturers differ significantly from those of retailers.

15.30–16.00   Quant Task Management as a helpdesk for LKQ stores

Linda Michaličková, merchandising specialist, will describe how they deployed one of Quant's major innovations this year - Task Management. Auto Kelly stores under the LKQ group have been using Quant as a category management tool for several years. As communication tools such as blogs and surveys have also proven to be successful, deploying Task Management was the next logical step, making it much easier to deal with requests from individual stores and helping to remove some of the clutter from email communication.

16.00–16.30  Iceland CR case study

Jana Pleskačová, Category Manager, will show the evolution of a retailer who decides to move from drawing planograms and store layouts in Excel to a sophisticated solution; and this is just the beginning of the journey. Why did Iceland choose Quant and what are the advantages from their perspective compared to other systems? You will learn about the challenges to be considered when mapping sales areas and drawing planograms, and the importance of maintaining a flexible approach.

16.30–17.00   Presentation of Quant pricing plans and final discussion

We will explain the Quant pricing plans, who they are suitable for and open a final discussion.
