Unread message notifications inform users that on Quant Web a new message has been published in chat and the user has not yet read it.

Messages

The notification is set in the Notification / Notification Settings section.

How to set up the notification?

1. Click on the  New button in Notification / Notifications Settings section.
2. Select Unread Messages notification from the list. 
3. The new notification will appear in the table. You can set its design in editor after opening it via Open button.

Adding Unread Messages Notification

Criteria

• Notify Editor of Topic
  • Checked = notification is sent to all users to whom the message is addressed and also to those who wrote it.
  • Unchecked = notification is not sent to those who wrote the message in the chat.

Variables

• Link to Quant Web
• Topic Channel Name - the name of the entire channel (it can be a channel with a store name or a channel created for a user group).
• Topic Name - filled in title of the chat topic.
• Topic Changes Overview – inserts a summary of changes that have been made since the last notification was sent into the email.

Notification of unread messages is sent automatically after the message is sent. Therefore, no notification times are set for this notification.
