Creating a Floor Plan Layer
When designing a Store Floor Plan, you may use components like walls, tares, fixture, labels or situational photos. It is very helpful to group these elements together in logical structure by using layers for all stores.
The layers will be the same for all stores and will automatically appear in the navigation tree of Store Editor.
In the beginning it is useful to create 2 layers:
- Fixtures - layer for furniture
- Technical plan - in case you are going to upload also a technical plan of the store
The store layers are created in the Stores section in the Layers sub-section.
Create a separate layer for technical plans if you plan to upload them to Quant. You can use an already created Active layer to draw shelf equipment or you can create your own layer, eg Shelves or Racks.
