This manual is a part of the First Steps manual. To be able to create planograms you need to set up a project where you will group all stores.

The Project Editor is used for the management of planograms for a group of stores and categories that are included in the project. It allows a planogram to be created for several stores at once. Planograms are published in the Project Editor and thereby visible for stores at the web interface.

The Project Editor is divided into several sections and tabs, which are described in detail in this manual.

The hierarchy in the Project Editor is where, after opening a project, all fixtures from the stores included in the project are automatically grouped.

Icons in the Project Navigation Tree (Hierarchy tab) can show you useful information. In this manual we describe the meaning of each of the icon.

This manual is a part of the First Steps manual. It describes how you can create a planogram for inserted fixtures in the floor plan.

In the planogram template you place the products with which you want to fill the planogram. To the left of the template and the planogram preview is the toolbar, where you will find all the functions that may be useful when creating a planogram. Also above the planogram template are several features that will make your work easier.

Blocks in the template can be marked with different signs. Each sign holds a specific meaning that informs about block properties.

You can set various properties for the inserted block, such as the number of placed pieces in width, height, its position, rotation and more. These adjustments will be described in this manual.

This manual is a part of the First Steps manual. It describes how to publish a ready planogram on web for a store.

When you finish designing your planogram it should be published to a certain lifecycle state. Planogram will automatically be in Draft state until you publish it. Please be aware that this state will not allow planogram to be accessible in Quant web interface.

You can use the Planogram Generator tool to create a planogram. This tool will generate a planogram template based on your settings.

In this manual an overview of shortcuts used in the Project Editor is provided. Using these shortcuts considerably expedites work in Quant.

In some situations, it is useful to work with multiple fixture segments at once. If you set up a section in Quant, you can then view it in the Project Editor preview of several fixtures at once and create planograms for them.

In Quant you can create planograms for a hanging system in which products are suspended on a hook wall or on slats.

Automatic shelf heights are used when the shelves are not fixed and can be moved according to the height of the products. Quant can generate shelves automatically based on the set criteria and adjust them to the height of the products.

You can import a planogram into Quant from a CSV (or XLSX) file using the Import Planogram from Table option. If you have a CSV file that contains a list of products including their exact position in the planogram, the following procedure allows you to create a planogram quickly and easily, based on the data from the table.

In Quant, you can plan how to display products on pallets. This manual will describe the easiest way to achieve this.

Sales data is an integral part required for the correct optimization of planograms. Thanks to planograms optimized according to sales, you can increase profit from sales in your stores.

In the Planogram Overview, you can see a detailed analysis of the selected planogram. The tool allows you to see, for example, which products are placed in the planogram and in what quantity, which products were not placed from the template in the final planogram, or how efficiently you have allocated the space in the planogram.

This tool allows you to search for any product across all planograms in a given project and find out which planogram it is in. You can quickly find out in which stores the product is located or which products are located in the planograms of a particular store.

The analysis of Product Opportunities is a tool which allows you to find out if you have placed all of the best-selling products.

In the Project Editor you can compare several product lists at the same time. You can quickly find out if products in the planogram for two different stores are the same and identify which products are placed in one store but they are not placed in the second store.

In the case of more complex multi-features, you can sort the products in the table differently in the PDF export of the planogram to determine if and how the products will be accumulated in the table.
