Planogram Editor Structure

The Planogram Editor is divided into several sections and tabs, which we will describe in detail in this manual.

Block Editation

You can set various properties for the inserted block, such as the number of placed pieces in width, height, its position, rotation and more. These adjustments will be described in this manual.

Planogram Template

In the planogram template you place the products with which you want to fill the planogram. To the left of the template and the planogram preview is the toolbar, where you will find all the functions that may be useful when creating a planogram. Also above the planogram template are several features that will make your work easier.

Signs in the Template

Blocks in the template can be marked with different signs. Each sign holds a specific meaning that informs about block properties.

Planogram Overview

In the Planogram Overview, you can see a detailed analysis of the selected planogram. The tool allows you to see, for example, which products are placed in the planogram and in what quantity, which products were not placed from the template in the final planogram, or how efficiently you have allocated the space in the planogram.

Planogram Generator

You can use the Planogram Generator tool to create a planogram. This tool will generate a planogram template based on your settings.

Automatic Shelf Heights

Automatic shelf heights are used when the shelves are not fixed and can be moved according to the height of the products. Quant can generate shelves automatically based on the set criteria and adjust them to the height of the products.

Hanging System

In Quant you can create planograms for a hanging system in which products are suspended on a hook wall or on slats.

Free Style Planogram

Some planograms require a more complex display that is not entirely easy to plan through a classic planogram template. In these situations, it helps to use the Free Style planogram mode, which allows you to insert products directly into the planogram and simply specify exactly where the product should be placed.

Free Style Planogram Layout Changes

You can move, copy, rotate, etc. products or other components in the planogram. This manual provides an overview of the actions used to manipulate products or other components in a free style planogram.

Planogram Section Templates

Section templates allow you to use one planogram template for an entire fixture section. So all products for the entire section are inserted into one template and then flow from one fixture to the next.

Planogram Rules

Planogram rules allow you to insert a general planogram rule into the planogram template that specifies a group of products from which Quant then selects the products to be placed in the final planogram. This is a very efficient and fast way to create a planogram that will be optimized according to sales data. From each inserted rule, Quant selects the best products and places them according to space and sales in the planogram.

Planogram import from CSV file

You can import a planogram into Quant from a CSV (or XLSX) file using the Import Planogram from Table option. If you have a CSV file that contains a list of products including their exact position in the planogram, the following procedure allows you to create a planogram quickly and easily, based on the data from the table.

Planograms for pallets

In Quant, you can plan how to display products on pallets. This manual will describe the easiest way to achieve this.

Store Specific Standalone Planograms with a Lifecycle

By using Store Specific Standalone Planograms with a Lifecycle, you can publish planograms to the web without the need for drawn floor plans.

Fixture Types

In Quant, you can define different types of fixtures which often repeat in stores so that they can be inserted into different floor plans. For example, you can define the appearance for a pallet, a shelf behind the cash register, a rack with 5 shelves, a rack with 6 shelves, a refrigerator or a freezer. In this way, you transfer the "fixture catalog" that you have available to Quant in order to use it when planning floor plans of a store.

Products Cumulation in PDF for Section with Joined Shelves

In the case of more complex multi-features, you can sort the products in the table differently in the PDF export of the planogram to determine if and how the products will be accumulated in the table.
