Moeve service station

Margarita Resino  |  Convenience Retail & Foodvenience Manager

What was your main motivation to look for a space planning system?

For Moeve, our main motivation was to centralize store management to have a manageable end-to-end vision.

The use of this type of tool allowed us not only to manage our stores from the head office but also our station managers had a unique vision of their stores and could implement the layouts and planograms in one click.

Why have you decided for Quant?

Quant helps us to have a unified view of the layout and planogram management, which also gives us a real value of the linear space of our categories that allows us to analyze and improve.

In addition, the photo-documentation of the planograms allowed us to control that what is defined in the head office reaches the EESS in time and form.

When did you start using Quant?

We started using Quant in September 2022.

Do you remember your expectations from that time?

Our expectation at that time was to create a more efficient and integrated operating model by consolidating store management into a single platform. This approach was designed to give us full visibility and control across the entire process, enabling better decision-making and operational agility. Ultimately, we aimed for this transformation to deliver measurable business impact—specifically, driving sales growth and unlocking the full commercial potential of our service stations, improving the service for our customers.

What were the worst obstacles? How did you succeed in overcoming them?

Moeve's biggest challenge was that we wanted to evolve our stores based on our segmentation and standardizing our spaces. Thanks to tools like Quant, and the use of independent planograms, we were able to overcome this casuistry and meet our objective.

How was the implementation of the system and what were the first benefits?

The implementation of Quant was done gradually to test the tool and understand how to adapt it to our business.

Thanks to Quant's tools we were able to analyze our stores, and we could define an ideal TO-BE based on our segmentation and new defined assortment. With that we started a physical implementation of TO-BE defined by waves.

Have you managed to integrate Quant with other systems like ERP and automate the data flow?

We partnered with NTT Data consulting firm that supported us in the creation of integrations that allowed us to have the real data from Moeve being transferred to Quant.

How would you rate the quality of the support?

Quant's support at all times has been very satisfactory, they work in a rigorous way attending to their clients and being able to adapt the tool to our business, they have been able to develop functionalities that have been essential for our use of the tool.

What are the main results of the project so far and what are your future plans and targets in area of space planning and category management?

Today we have implemented Quant in our most service stations and thanks to the use of the tool we have managed to deploy our new assortment defined, allowing to photo-document the planograms defined in the head office vs. the planograms implemented in stores.

Would you recommend Quant to other retailers?

Yes, Quant is a great tool that adapts to the business needs of each client and has the ability to manage shops in a single solution.
