Setting a Fixture for a Planogram
Before creating a planogram, you have to know the measurements of the fixture and its other properties to be able to create a planogram that corresponds to the reality.
How to set the measurements?
You can set measurements in the right panel of the Planogram Editor in the Segments tab.
Setting of fixture measurements
How to change the number of shelves?
You can add and delete shelves in the preview of the fixture in the Segment tab.
In the Planogram Editor, it is possible to draw more planograms next to each other. In the picture below, you can see the buttons via which you can add or duplicate a segment.
You can display segments next to each other. It will help you to plan a space for fixtures next to each other. You have to enable this option by Section View button.
How to set a category?
You will set a category in the Planogram tab in the right panel. You can also fill in the name of the planogram. This category is then applied to all segments of the planogram.
If you need to set a category for a single segment, you can do so in the Segments/Fixtures tab. This allows you to have a different category for each segment. At the same time, when selecting a specific shelf, you can set a category for the selected shelf in the Segments/Shelves tab.
The category set on the planogram or fixtures affects which products are displayed in the Category Products tab. In most cases, the planogram is filled with products from this tab. However, if your planogram contains products from multiple categories, you can always add products from the All Products tab, where you will find products from all categories. It is therefore not necessary to stick to the category settings.
You will find more information about editing fixture in the Fixture Editing manual.
It is possible to pre-create fixture and store it in a library, and then use that fixture library to retrieve the configured fixture from it. See the Fixture Types manual for more information.
