Product Accessories
Release date: 09.04.2026
You can now use product add-ons when creating planograms, which can be placed directly next to the selected product.
What exactly can you create?
Pusher: If it is wider than the product itself, Quant will now take its width relative to the product into account.
Hooks
Facers and splitters
Price tag holders: precise placement of price information right next to the product.
Settings
In the new Product Accessories tab, you can create your own library of accessories that you use on your shelves..
Create Product Accessories
For each add-on, the following is then defined in more detail:
- Shape Dimensions and Format: Set the dimensions, color, and border thickness, or even upload a real image from your library. You can also select the "minimum product dimensions" option; this attribute adds space to the product if necessary. (For example, if we have a product that is ten centimeters wide and the product accessory is supposed to be 15 cm, then by checking this criterion, we let Quanta know that it should add 2.5 cm of space on each side of the product.
- Position: Use the Horizontal and Vertical Offset to determine the exact position of the accessory relative to the product. A Vertical Offset of -5 cm moves the accessory upward, while +5 cm moves it downward relative to the product.
- Space Definition (Margins): Margins are set to define the space that Quant should add to the product so that the product accessory can be positioned correctly. (If a 2 cm wide divider is needed and I want to place it to the left of the product, then 2 cm must be added to the left margin.)
Adding a product add-on to the planogram
Once the product add-on has been created, we can simply add it to the products of our choice in the planogram.
Adding Product Accessory to a product
Quant then calculates how many products can fit on the shelf based on the dimensions of the product and the dimensions of the shelf.
