New Shelf label Settings Options
Release date: 25.06.2026
We have expanded the options to configure and manage Shelf labels. You can now better customize Shelf label settings for individual product categories and the required content.
1. Category-Level Settings
At the category level, you can now define not only the shelf label type, but also Relevant and Preferred Custom Product Attributes. This allows you to customize Shelf label settings for different product groups without having to configure each product individually.
Shelf label Type by Category
The Shelf label type can be now set directly at the product category level. Simply select the main root category at level 1 in Global Settings, in the SEL Settings Root Category for Shelf labels row. All subcategories and the products they contain will then automatically inherit this setting.

Defining the Shelf label Type, Relevant and Preferred Custom Product Attributes at the Category Level
The category settings now include the Shelf label Type, Relevant and Preferred Custom Product Attributes. These properties are used to display the required information on the shelf label.
- Shelf label Type: Select which shelf label type should be used for products in the selected category. The category setting takes priority over the shelf label type defined for the store. If a type is not specified for the category, the store level setting will be used.
- Relevant Custom Product Attributes: Select the optional product Attributes that are relevant to the category. The selected properties will then be available for selection as Preferred Custom Product Attributes.
- Preferred Custom Product Attributes: Choose which of the Relevant Custom Product Attributes should be displayed on the shelf label. You can also set their order, which determines their priority.

Attributes Table
The Shelf Label Editor now includes a new Attributes Table component for displaying Custom Product Attributes.
The Custom properties displayed in the table are based on the settings of the corresponding Category. In the Category properties panel, you can define Relevant and Preferred Custom Product Attributes and arranged the preferred order of priority.
The selected properties are then displayed in the Attributes Table on Shelf label.

3. New Subsection Shelf Label Template Types
The subsection includes four predefined (system) template types: Default, Action, Club and Action&Club. The template type is applied to a product as follows:
Default: used for products with sales price greater then zero.
Action: The action price is displayed if both the sales price and the original price are greater than zero, and the original price is higher than the sales price.
Club: The Club price is displayed if both the sales price and the club price are greater than zero, and the club price is lower than sales price.
Action&Club: Used if the product meets the conditions for both the Action and Club price.
System Shelf Label Types cannot be deleted, but they can be renamed as needed.
Shelf Label Template Types
In addition to the System Template Types, you can create your own Custom Template Types and manage their use with product filters. Both Product conditions and Store Specific conditions are available.
Produkt Filter Settings
In the Shelf Label Editor, you can select which template types should be used for each shelf label and specify their order. Quant checks the template types one by one in the defined order and uses the first type that matches the product. For newly created shelf labels, the default type is selected automatically. Existing shelf labels keep their current settings, which have been automatically converted to the new system to match the original configuration.

4. Product image as Store Specific Product Attribute
The Shelf Label Editor has been extended with the option to insert a product image as Store Specific Product Attribute. The image displayed on Shelf label can be set individually for each store. This option can be used, for example, to display images related to services or offers available at a particular store.
