How Lagardère Travel Retail uses Quant to effectively manage retail space
Lagardère Travel Retail Czech Republic, a member of Lagardère Group, world leader in travel retail, operating, among others, the Relay convenience store chain, Costa Coffee, Paul premium bakery, and duty free shops at the airport, has been using Quant as its solution for planogram creation, space planning, and category management since 2021. Lagardère currently uses the Quant web platform both in individual stores and within the Sales Department, where it is used to monitor the placement of products in planograms, store layouts, and product category distribution on the sales floor.
In a brief interview, Miroslav Randáček, Merchandising & Category Manager | Lagardère Travel Retail, shared their experience of using Quant so far, as well as the company's plans to expand its implementation. Among other things he highlighted some of the key advantages of implementing Quant, such as enhanced control over the product range, profitability and margins, as well as stronger position in interactions with suppliers.
With Quant, we can easily ensure that our suppliers' products are placed on our shelves at the agreed time and in the correct places — where they have the greatest potential for boosting sales.
