Looking back at Retail in Detail 2024

This year's Retail in Detail: Digitech conference offered not only a great opportunity to meet colleagues from the industry, but also many news from the world of retail and digital technologies.

The main topic of this year's event was artificial intelligence and the speakers presented primarily its use cases from their business.

Petr Kavánek, CEO Quant Retail, shared several of these use cases during his speech in the opening segment of the programme, in which he explained Why artificial intelligence in retail will not replace capable specialists, but will make them even more capable. In his presentation, he showcased the most innovative features of Quant, which facilitate the work of our clients with the help of artificial intelligence. He presented how our intelligent retail platform handles the automatic generation of category hierarchies and automatically creates store specific planograms using user defined rules. He also introduced our most recent functionality - Shelf image recognition, a feature that helps save a lot of time when reviewing planogram compliance in stores.
