Planned Replacement Settings
Automatic replacements can happen immediately, but they can also be planned in the future. This allows a smooth coordination of replacements and orders, where the replacement is first planned, then the product is ordered to the store, and finally the replacement is executed.
You can enable future replacement planning by setting the Replace in Planogram Condition attribute, either at the category level or at the store category level. Here you can define the rule that a candidate must fulfill so that an immediate replacement can be made. If the conditions are not fulfilled, but the candidate is still the most suitable, it will be planned as a future replacement, which you will then see in the Planned Replacements report. When the planned replacement begins to fulfill this condition, it will be made.

How to use the Planned Replacements Report is described in a separate manual.
Daily Planned Replacement Limit
In the replacement settings in the product properties, you can specify a Daily Planned Replacement Limit, which defines how many times a given product can be planned as a replacement. In practice, this limit ensures that the product is ordered in the required quantity and no more than its actual availability, e.g., in the central stock. The value in this attribute is thus always reduced by the number of times the product has become a planned replacement.
Products - Daily Planned Replacement Limit
To make the daily limit setting work, you need to enable Check Daily Planned Replacement Limits on the Automatic Planogram Updates task. This attribute then checks whether the candidate's daily limit is exceeded when planning replacements. If the candidate already has a daily limit of 0, then a record is created in the missing replacements report.
