Planogramming
Document Templates
In Quant, you can create PDF Design for export and printing, e.g. PDFs with published planograms or store floor plans. In this manual you will find instructions on how to create a new PDF Design and what properties can be set for the PDF Design in the Document tab. There is also a brief description of the structure of the PDF Design Editor, which is used to create the appearance of the selected PDF Design.
Designs for PDF export contain various components such as planogram, product table, floor plan, fixture or various labels and images. The components offered vary according to the type of document. You insert these components into the PDF Design and then set the necessary properties.
The components inserted into the PDF Design can be easily manipulated using the various tools found in the toolbar on the left. This manual explains how to work with these and other useful tools.
The Standalone Planogram PDF Design is used to plan the document design for exporting a PDF of a standalone planogram (e.g. from Quant Desktop from the Standalone Planograms section).
Use this tool to insert a planogram into a PDF Design, whose properties you can then edit on the Component tab.
This component represents the product table for the planogram. You can choose to put it on a separate page or on the same page as the planogram. On the Component tab, you can then define other properties of the table, such as columns and their order or size or table appearance (colors), etc.
Insert this component into the PDF Design if you need to insert a variable attribute value into the PDF. This can be a property of a specific fixture, planogram, store or document.
The Fixture component represents a technical plan of the fixture, which is created in the Store Editor. It can be useful, for example, for technicians who need to know how many shelves the fixture has, what its dimensions are, whether it is a hanging system, etc.
You can add different texts to the PDF Design. After inserting the Text component, you can edit the text properties - font size, text position, text color, etc.
You can insert a PDF, SVG or image into the PDF Design. Images can enrich documents with necessary design elements (company logo, corporate graphic elements or legend). After inserting a given component, you can further modify its properties in the Component tab.
