In the Category Store Settings section, you can set certain category properties at a more detailed level, i.e., for a category/store combination.

In Category Store Settings, you can set attributes for Automatic Replenishment and Automatic Replacements at a detailed level, among other things.

Category Store Settings

If a parent value is set for an attribute, the value is taken from the parent category/store combination. If a parent value is set at the highest level of the category/store combination, the value is taken from the category settings.

Value Inheritance Scheme

This example shows all the options for transferring values:

Red - The subcategory/store Shoes/Dublin has its own value set (green icon), so this value is considered directly.

Yellow - A parent value is set for the subcategory Shoes/Dublin (orange icon), and its parent category/store Fashion/Dublin has its own value. This custom value is therefore carried over below.

Green - There is a parent value on both the subcategory/store and the top-level category/store, so we look at the top-level category, from which the value is carried over below.
