You can localize system values into selected languages in the Value Translations section. The translated values will then be displayed for users on the Quant web portal.

This feature is mainly used when you use Quant centrally for different countries and you want stores from other countries accessing the web interface to have e.g. category names, task types, task filters, etc. displayed in their own language instead of the language of the headquarters.

The values to be translated can be created manually or by bulk import.

You can create values manually and then fill in the translation in the desired language. The created value must be identical to the ones already existing in Quant due to case sensitivity and diacritics.

How can values be created manually?  

1. Click on the New button in the Values Translations section.
2. Fill in the Key, i.e. the value you need to translate, and press Ok.

1. Fill in the values of the languages into which you need to translate the expression.
2. Press the Save button.

You can then view the translated values in the language of your choice on the Quant web portal.

Import of values and translations

Values and their translations can be imported in bulk from e.g. an excel or csv table.

The table must contain the values you need to translate and their translations in the relevant languages. The created value must be identical to the ones already existing in Quant due to case sensitivity and diacritics.

How can values and their translations be imported in bulk?

1. Click on the Import button in the Values Translations section, or select Imports and then Values Translations from the menu.
