Bulk Products Editing
In Quant, you can use the bulk edit tool to edit different product properties. This feature is very useful if you want to set the same value for a property for several products.
How to proceed?
- In the Products section, select the products you want to edit in bulk.
- Click on the Edit Marked button.
- Select the attribute type - whether it is a property from the Basic Properties, Packaging, or Store Specific Properties tab. The following options are available:
- Standard - these are properties from the Basic Properties tab (e.g. supplier, product name, brand, optional properties, Planogramming attribute, etc.)
- Package - these are all packaging attributes (e.g. dimensions, weight, package name...)
- Set Default Package - allows you to set the same default package for all marked products, which is then inserted by default into the planogram.
- RemovePackage - allows you to remove the same package for all marked products. Often used when you create an unnamed package for a product that you don't use.
- Store Specific - allows you to edit properties found in the Store Specific Properties tab (e.g. inventory, price, order attributes). In the next step, you must select for which store or stores you want to change the attribute.
- Click on Next button.
- On the left, mark the property(ies) you want to edit.
- On the right, set the new value.
- Click on Ok.
- Confirm by clicking on Yes.
If you have products you need to bulk edit ready in another document (e.g. excel), you can easily add them to the selection in Quant. You can read more about this option in the Advanced Selection manual.
