In this manual, you will find out how to insert fixtures into the store floor plan, adjust its measurements, number of shelves and set a category.

How to insert a fixture to a floor plan?

All tools for inserting various components can be found in the toolbars on the left in the Insert section.

1. In the navigation section of the Store Editor (right side), activate the layer version into which you want to insert the fixture.
2. Click on the Fixture icon (shortcut E) in the toolbar on the left. 
3. In the store floor plan, click on the place where the fixture should be inserted.

The fixture is inserted into the floor plan in the default setting - its width is 80 cm and it has a total of 6 shelves. You can easily change these attributes in Quant.

You will find all tools for insertion of the various types of components into the the floor plan described in the Inserting a Component into a Floor Plan manual.

In Quant you can save different fixtures that are used frequently in different stores to a library. Then you can insert these pre-defined fixtures into different stores without the need to define measurements, number of shelves etc. everytime. You can read more in the Component Blocks manual.

Measurements are set in the Component tab, where you can see a preview of the entire fixture.

How to change the number of shelves?

You can add or remove shelves at the bottom of the Store Editor in the Fixture Components / Shelf tab.

You can set the dimensions and number of shelves for your fixtures entirely here in the Store Editor. However, if your fixtures have a flexible shelf layout according to the final planogram, you do not need to set the shelves here, and the shelf settings can be taken from the planogram.

How to move, copy, or rotate fixtures?

In the toolbar on the left, in the Modify section, you will find all the tools for making changes to the floor plan layout (rotation, movement, copying, alignment, etc.).

How to set fixture category?

You can set the category on the fixtures using the Category tool (keyboard shortcut K) in the toolbar on the left.
