Linking Planograms with Store Floor Plans

You can link the created planogram with the fixtures in the store floor plan.

How do you link the planogram with the fixtures on the floor plan?

  1. Open the store where you want to link the planogram and activate the Link Standalone Planogram tool (keyboard shortcut P) in the toolbar on the left.
  2. Draw an arrow over the fixtures you want to link to the planogram.

Planogram Linking

  1. In the new window, select the planogram you want to link to the fixtures.
  2. Confirm by clicking OK.
  3. Check the linking criteria on the right. Especially, the Shelves by Planogram setting, which determines whether the dimensions of individual shelves should be taken from the master planogram (checked box) or from the fixtures in the floor plan (unchecked box).
  4. Complete the planogram linking by clicking the Apply button on the right (or Enter).

Setting of Linking Criteria

Once the planogram is linked, a label with the name of the linked planogram will appear next to the fixture.

You can link the planogram to multiple stores. The fixtures in the floor plan may have different dimensions than the master planogram you created—Quant will customize the planogram to fit the store according to its dimensions. The following image shows that we have linked the planogram with the fixtures at the Prague and Oxford stores.

Linked Planogram

After opening the Planogram Editor, you can check which stores already have a linked planogram and what it looks like for each store in the Stores tab. Planograms that are already linked to fixtures can be identified by the fact that they have a value entered in the Link ID column in the Stores tab.

The following image shows what the planogram for the Oxford store looks like. The master planogram, which was designed for two 100 cm wide fixtures, has been adapted in this case to a single 120 cm wide fixture.
