Creating a Project

In Quant, all stores and planograms can be organized into planogram projects. A project represents the basic structure in which planograms are created by categories and assigned to specific fixtures in store floor plans.

Procedure for Creating a New Project

  1. In the Planogram Projects section, click the New button.

Creating a new project

  1. In the newly opened window, enter the Project Name (e.g., Planograms). The project name is used for clear orientation when working with multiple projects. Other settings can be skipped at this stage—all parameters can be modified later at any time.
  2. Click Next.

Project Name

  1. The next step is the group selection of stores, where you determine which stores the project will apply to. By default, All Stores are selected. By deselecting them, the project can be limited to selected store groups or individual stores in the Stores tab.

If the project should not be limited to specific stores, we recommend keeping All Stores selected. This setting ensures that new stores will be automatically added to the project without the need for further adjustments.

  1. Click Next.

Group selection of stores

  1. In the next step, you set the selection of categories the project will work with. By default, All Categories are selected. The project can therefore work with the complete assortment.
  2. Click Next.

Project categories

  1. In the final step, Sales Data can be set if they are already available in Quant. This setting is not mandatory and can be added or changed later in the Project Editor.
  1. Click the OK button to confirm the creation of the project.

After confirmation, a Hierarchy of categories and fixtures from the stores is automatically generated in the project. This hierarchy serves as the basis for creating planograms.
