What I particularly appreciate about working with Quant Retail is their very flexible approach to problem solving. The product is being constantly and rapidly innovated and improved based on our mutual knowledge. Thanks to this we could start using planograms and automatic replacements also in fast fashion categories, where basically no one has tried this level of automation in the retail market before.
The main benefits of using Quant more than a year after its deployment include standardization and professionalization of merchandising rules, performance measurement by equipment type and easier opening of new stores. At the same time, the display of the goods is handled professionally with the stores.

The most notable result has been the complete implementation of Shelf Label Management. We are still far from completing our planogram implementation; however, the process is now well defined and in production which we believe to be the biggest challenge. Our plan is to continue to improve our planogram deployment and we are now starting to work with vendors to implement brand-specific planograms at the store level.
The most important results are among others a better overview of assortment, better planning of assortment in advance and easier placing of goods in stores, which is perceived as real relief! This also contributes to better orientation of customers in our stores.
We chose Quant because of the comprehensive solution for the entire process - support for product selection, store space planning, exhibition planning, easy implementation in stores. No unnecessary investments were required. Czech support was also an important decision factor for us.
Using Quant helps us e.g. to win new business by visualising 3D store presentations, give advice in alternative presentations styles and communicate how / where POS-material is placed. In relationship to some of our customers we increased trust and improved collaboration by sharing planogram updates through log in, one year after using pdf’s through intranet. The insights from there were of immediate benefit to all.
Integration of store specific planograms was major turning point in 2015 and it led us to solving the “dead stock” which had been discussed over a long period. Another advantage is mistake elimination in range of products. Products are selected according to Pareto principle and business contracts in all sizes of planograms. Range of products is automatically prioritized nowadays.
We wanted a software that was easy to use, that would evolve, that would respond to our needs and that could reflect the diversity of our different stores. Of course, it should also be possible to connect our stores and we also appreciate the fact that there are access points for suppliers. All this was important for us, because up to now the health food trade was rather casual in comparison to the conventional food retail trade.
We have a great recommendation regarding Quant from our colleagues from the Czech Republic and we chose it according to their good results. All that we need at this point was completely covered by Quant solutions. We have an easy accessibility and communication with pharmacies, the possibility to expand cooperation to manufacturers and suppliers.
Quant‘s greatest selling point is the functionality which creates planograms with such ease and speed to suit each individual pharmacy according to specified criteria such as sales and daily stock. Planograms can be created for one single pharmacy, a combination of pharmacies, or based upon the company average, depending on your choice.
We were most excited at the very beginning when work operations involving assortment and store space planning became definitely more effective. In the course of the first three months Quant was filled with data and three MY FOOD stores were drawn. The stores were equipped with tablets and worked with planograms via a web interface directly on the store premises.
In addition to the aforementioned benefits of automatic orders, we appreciate in particular the easier administration of items displayed in the stores and acquisition of new business partners also thanks to the provision of space management. Also, the work of our sales representatives administering displayed items based on planograms in Quant has become more effective.
In the spring of 2016, we first became acquainted with the Quant software. In addition to creating efficient floor plans and planograms, it also offered distribution and control over their implementation. A great benefit was the web application for internal communication with stores. The superstructure also featured the possibility of analysing Category Management, which we were preparing in the long-term horizon.
