If you import sales data into Quant, either automatically or manually, and find that it is incorrect, you can delete either the entire sales data set or only part of it for a specific period.

The tool for deleting sales data can be found in the menu under Tools / Remove Sales Data.

• • Remove Whole Sales Data Sets: If the checkbox is selected, the entire sales data sets that are set in the Editable Sales Data Sets row are removed, that is, for the entire period. If you do not want to delete the entire sales data set, but only a part of it (e.g. 3 months), uncheck this checkbox and set the period in the Start Date and End Date properties.
  • Start Date: The first day for which you want to delete the sales data.
  • End Date: The last day for which you want to delete data.
  • Editable Sales Data Sets: Specify here which sets of sales data you want to delete.

If you set only the Start Date, Quant deletes all sales data from the selected sets after that date. Similarly, if you select only  the End Date, all sales data from the selected sets before this date will be deleted.

Once all is set up, click on Ok and wait for Quant to show you a message that the data has been successfully deleted.

You can then check whether the data deletion has been done according to your expectations in the Sales Data Sets Overview analysis, which can be found in the menu under Analyses / Sales Data Sets Overview.
