Podsumowanie konferencji QuantCON 2026

The fourth annual QuantCON conference has now concluded, and we would like to share our experiences, insights, and the overall feel of the event focused on collaboration and creativity.

The opening day typically includes a presentation of the latest features and innovations. Due to the significant development that has taken place over the past year, selecting just the top features was a challenging task. The 60 showcased tips covered a range of topics, including the unique feature of linking planograms directly to the floor plan, improvements in personalised PDF templates, as well as new developments in automatic planogram optimisation.

We also provided a more detailed overview of the ability to share planograms across different Quant instances. Given that Quant is deployed in more than sixty countries and is increasingly used within multinational groups and to facilitate collaboration with suppliers, we introduced the QPLN format to allow users to upload their planograms easily.

Planograms and the Compliance Module

The primary and near-daily tasks of most participants involve managing planograms and the subsequently evaluating their implementation in stores. As part of the "Planograms from A to Z" segment, we discussed flexible options for creating planograms and floor plans, including the ability to create both independently of one another. Over the past year, we have significantly expanded the options for working with standalone planograms, which now can be conveniently linked to floor plans. We have also added the long-awaited auto-save feature to Projects, significantly improving collaboration among multiple users.

Petr Kavánek | CEO at Quant Retail, introduced the recently integrated Planogram & Store Compliance module. The module provides feedback from stores in the form of photos of the implementation. These are then integrated with the subsequent comprehensive approval process and implementation evaluation, including the option to automate the evaluation process with Quant’s AI powered Image Recognition tool.

Evening Concert

Our colleague Petra Göbelová and her band performed at the end of the first day. Their wonderful, laid-back performance made for a delightful evening, and we enjoyed both their beautiful original songs and several covers performed in a unique style.

Demand Planning & Forecasting

The second day began with a focus on the increasingly popular Demand Planning and Forecasting module, which is one of the fastest-growing modules on our platform.

Given the need to integrate with other systems and constantly update data to fully leverage the potential of Quant, the morning session on the second day also showcased additional options for data transfers directly from MS EventHub, improvements to automated transfers via the REST API, and the implementation of Single Sign-On authentication.

New Features in Automatic Planogram Updates

Even after weeks of work preparing and successfully implementing planograms for the new season in stores, success is unfortunately not always guaranteed. This is particularly true when the availability and sufficient inventory of all products at every store cannot be ensured. To address this challenge, we have developed a streamlined automated solution for micro-adjustments to planograms. This solution has been met with resounding success, not only for customers with highly dynamic product ranges, such as fashion and electronics, but also by pharmacies, for example.

Ivor Gogál | Dr.Max Holding SK shared the practical benefits of implementing automatic planogram updates as part of integrated space planning, along with his experience from many years of using Quant in Slovakia’s largest pharmacy chain. He provided the participants with valuable feedback, supported by practical examples.

Macro Space Planning for Advanced Users

In the next segment, we focused on improvements within the Store Editor and, more generally, in floor planning. The DWG floor plan import feature has undergone major changes and is a highly valued and welcome addition. This feature enables users to import a complete layout, including fixtures, into Quant with just “one click.”

Through practical real-world scenarios, we demonstrated how to use Quant’s integrated tools for floor plan evaluation and category segmentation, how to maximize sales potential, and how to standardize the customer experience.

Retail Space Planning

Integration with planograms, highlights, capacity calculations for individual categories, creation of digital 3D twins of stores, and efficient planning of store remodels and new store openings. All this and much more is now offered by Quant Floor Planning with advanced 3D and DWG integration.

Quant Helpdesk and Task Management

On the final day, we unveiled a brand-new feature: Quant Helpdesk. This new system will allow users to contact the support team more easily and efficiently, and to track the status of their requests directly on the Quant web.

The module was developed based on the Quant Task Management solution, which an increasing percentage of our customers are adopting as an internal help desk solution for their stores and as an effective tool for assigning tasks. Among this year's major new features are private comments, new contexts, and more flexible filter definitions.

In conclusion

Aside from the presentations and discussions, the conference once again demonstrated that the ability to share experiences and seek new approaches is one of the fundamental keys to success. We are pleased that QuantCON creates a space for professional debate on topics that many of our customers are addressing and often approach in different ways, from which both the further development of Quant, and other participants can draw inspiration. We would like to thank everyone for their enthusiastic participation in this year's conference and we are confident that it provided attendees not only with new insights, but also with inspiration for further expanding the use of Quant in their business.
