Bookmarks and Reporting Requirements

In this manual, you will learn how to best report various types of requests or errors to Quant support so that communication is as effective and understandable as possible.

Main principles:

  1. Questions or error reports should be as specific as possible. It is always best to identify the planogram, store, and product where the situation occurs. If the question depends on a specific planogram/store, please create a bookmark and send a link to the bookmark.
  2. Questions should also be as clear as possible. It is often helpful to attach a screenshot to describe the issue. Please always take a screenshot of the entire screen, not just a part of it. Our support team always needs to see the entire Quant screen in order to clearly identify, for example, the project or planogram you are currently working on.
  3. Please send all questions to the shared group created for this purpose and do not try to contact anyone directly, as they may be on vacation or on a work call. You will get a response much faster if you write to the group chat, where many of our colleagues are available.

Hello, why is only one piece placed in width for the second product on the first shelf, even though this product has a higher profit value than the product to its left?

Wrong Screenshot Example

If the user had sent the entire screenshot, Quant support would have been able to immediately find out that the maximum number of packages in width was set to 1.

Correct Screenshot Example

In some cases, it is not possible to answer a question based on a screenshot only. Therefore, when submitting a question, we recommend sending a bookmark to the relevant planogram: {167839400-Quant Retail Presentation}.

Bookmarks

If you have a question or report an issue, always identify the planogram or store (etc.) where it occurs. The fastest way is to create a bookmark in Quant and send it to support in the group chat. Using the bookmark, you can create a link to a specific part of Quant (e.g., a planogram in the Project Editor), which can be used not only for reports sent to our support team, but also across your collaborating teams.

You can create bookmarks in various places in Quant where you see the Create Bookmark button. For example, you can create a bookmark for a planogram, store, fixture type, task, poll, etc.

Creating a Bookmark

After creating a bookmark, it is automatically copied to the system clipboard and you can use Ctrl+V (Cmd+V) to copy it directly to the support group chat, for example.

Each bookmark you create is also saved in the Bookmarks section in Quant so that you can easily access it later. From there, you can quickly navigate to your saved location in Quant by selecting the bookmark and clicking the Open button.

If you want to send a saved bookmark to another user or, for example, to Quant support, select the bookmark and click the Copy Bookmark button.

Open or Copy Bookmark

The other user will open the sent bookmark either in the Bookmarks section by searching for the bookmark and clicking the Open button, or via the top menu in Bookmarks - Open Bookmark, or using the keyboard shortcut Cmd/Ctrl+K.

Favorite Bookmarks

When creating a new bookmark or subsequently in the Bookmarks section, you can add the bookmark to your favorites. This option is useful for bookmarks that lead to places you frequently access in Quant. For example, it can be a bookmark for a specific store or project, or for a specific planogram.

Add to Favorites

Your favorite bookmark will always be available from Quant Explorer from the top bar.
