This manual is a part of the First Steps manual. In Quant you need to create categories and assign products to categories.

In the Categories tab you can create new categories, edit their properties and determine products that will belong to them.

You can generate a category hierarchy based on existing attributes registered in Quant. Quant will automatically create parent categories and subcategories and fills them with products with the same attribute value.

The fastest tool how to fill in product categories is the Product Filter which works with product attributes registered in Quant. In order to be used effectively, it is necessary to have a certain property for the products of each category. Custom properties in Quant might help you to categorize products in Quant.
