Product Overview in Planograms

In the tabs described in this manual, you can monitor the products placed in the planogram template. For example, you can easily find out which products are placed in the planogram and in what quantity, which products were not placed from the template into the final planogram, or how efficiently you have allocated the space in the planogram.

The tabs related to products in the template can be found at the bottom of the Project Editor or in the Planogram Editor.

Tabs for Products in the TemplateThis manual explains the following tabs:

  1. Placed Products
  2. Not Placed Products
  3. Placed Product Groups
  4. Shelves Overview
  5. Replenishment

The information in Placed Products, Not Placed Products, Placed Product Groups and Replenishment tabs can be viewed either for the active fixture, an entire section or a store. It depends on which product display setting you have selected above the planogam.

To display products for active fixtures, a section or an entire store, activate the corresponding icon in the top toolbar above the planogram. These icons allow you to switch between different display levels and easily adjust the visualization to your needs.

Icons for displaying Products Placed in Fixture, Section or Store

The following section describes the mentioned tabs, with the product display set to fixture level.

Placed Products

When you open the Placed Products tab, a table of products placed in the active planogram appears. You can also see additional details, such as the shelf where the product is placed or how many units are placed in width, height or depth for each product. You can add additional columns to the table as needed.

Double-clicking on a product in the table will highlight the product in both the planogram template and the planogram, making it easy to identify.

Not Placed Products

The Not Placed Products tab allows you to track products that are present in the planogram template but were not placed in the final planogram (they are crossed out in the template). You can also check the reason why a product was not placed.

Placed Product Groups

Here, you can group products by different attributes and analyze which product groups are located in the planogram. For example, you can track which brands or suppliers are represented in the planogram.

Use the Group by row to select the attribute by which you want to group the products.

For example, if you want to see which suppliers products are placed in the planogram and how much representation each supplier has. In the figure below, you can see how to proceed.

Shelves Overview

This tab provides a detailed analysis of the planogram, where you can track how shelves are filled with products, how much space is still available, or which shelf generates the highest profit.

For example, you can monitor the following values in the analysis:

    • Shelf Length Coverage - the percentage of the shelf covered by products in width.
    • Free Shelf Length - the amount of free space left on the shelf in width.
    • Shelf Height Coverage - the percentage of the shelf covered by products in height.
    • Free Shelf Height - the amount of free space left on the shelf in height.
    • Turnover - the turnover generated by the products placed on a given shelf.
    • Turnover (Not Placed) - the turnover generated by products that were not placed from the template into the shelf.
    • Turnover (Not Placed Share) - the share of unplaced products' turnover in relation to the total turnover of all products on the given shelf.

The second shelf of the planogram is 94.29% covered in width with 4 cm of free space remaining. In height, the shelf is 36,67 % covered with 19 cm of free space left in height. The second shelf generates a total of $279.56 in turnover for the selected period. However, some products were not placed from the planogram template to the final planogram and these products generated a total of $141.95 in turnover. The percentage of turnover of these not placed products to all products from this shelf (placed and not placed) is 33.68% (141.95/(279.56+141.95)).
