In the Store Editor, you can calculate the area or circumference of drawn objects (e.g. rectangles). This feature can be useful when you need to determine the size of a certain area of a floor plan.

How to proceed?

1. Create a closed object (circle, rectangle, polygon) for which you want to calculate the circumference or area.
2. Create a text label (keyboard shortcut T).
3. A new Link Label button will appear at the top of the Store Editor, click on it.
4. Click on the object you want to link to the label and press Enter.

5. On the right side, in the text label attributes, click in the Text row.
6. Type the text itself.
7. Select the fields for calculation which are located in the right part of the window (Area, Circumference). Click on Insert.

Inserting a calculation field into the labelA text label can contain multiple fields for calculation and there can be multiple individual labels for one object.
