Ordered Selection in Store Editor
The Ordered Selection tool in the Store Editor helps you make bulk edits for fixtures. Using a simply drawn arrow above the fixture, you can set certain attributes for the fixture below the arrow.
The attributes that can be set using the ordered selection can be found on the left side in the Fixture section:
- Category
- Category variants
- Fixture name
- Section
- Floor plan position
Creating an ordered selection
The Ordered Selection tool can be found on the left side under Select. After activating it, a help dialog with basic instructions will appear. Click on the first fixture to start drawing the arrow. To change direction, just click again. To complete the selection, press on the Enter key.
This way you can draw multiple different selections and use them to set different fixture properties such as Category Variant. You can view all drawn ordered selections using the toggle button at the top or find them in the list of all placed objects in the Store tab.
Omitting fixture in an ordered selection
In some cases it is necessary to omit certain fixture that is below the arrow. In such a situation, just press the space bar above the fixture. The arrow line will change from solid → to dashed -->. The fixture below the dashed line will not be included in the selection. Pressing the space bar again will change the line back to solid and the fixture will continue to be included in the selection.
Adding fixture to an ordered selection
An existing ordered selection can also be subsequently modified to add or remove fixture. Click on the button at the top of the Ordered Selection to select the arrow you wish to edit. Once you have selected the point on the arrow from which you wish to edit the selection, press the space bar and redraw the arrow as you would for drawing a new ordered selection.
