Filtering in Tables

In any table in Quant, you can use both simple and advanced filters to easily get the list of items you need to work with.

How can you filter in tables?

If you move cursor over a column header, a filter symbol will appear. If you click on this symbol, you will be offered values by which you can filter. The filter also allows you to search, so you can start typing the value you're looking for. This value will then appear in the filter.

We want to filter only products from the supplier Slovepo in the table with products. The procedure is described in the figure below.

In some cases, this basic filtering is not enough, because you need to display products from three suppliers, for example, or you need to display products that have a profit greater than 1000 and so on. To do this, use the optional filter, which you can open by clicking on the filter symbol in the column header and selecting the Custom filter option.

In the window that opens, you can choose from several different conditions. For numeric attributes it is eg "is greater than", "is less than" or "is between" etc. For text attributes you will find here eg condition "is in" for possibility to select several values at once or "has at the beginning", "has at the end", "contains", etc.

How do you cancel all set filters?

Filters are remembered for each table, so until you delete them, they will be applied to that table. You can find out if a filter is applied to a table by the filter icon next to the search field. The number next to the filter represents how many filters are active in total.

You can then cancel all filters by clicking on the filter icon and selecting the appropriate option.

Removing Filters

Another way to clear all filters is to right-click in a column header and select select Remove All Filters option.
