Sorting in Tables

You can sort tables in Quant by any column. If you click in a column header, you can sort the items in the table by the values of that column. At the same time,  you can group items by the same values of a particular attribute.

How can you sort items in a table according to a specific column?

Clicking in the column header (by which you want to sort the items) activates the sorting. The first click sorts numeric items from the lowest number to the highest or text from A to Z. The second click sorts from the highest value to the lowest for numeric attributes. For text attributes, it sorts from Z to A.

How can you create groups of items in a table by a specific attribute?

When creating a planogram, it often makes sense to display products from the same producer, for example. To achieve this, turn on grouping products by Producer attribute.

To enable grouping, right-click in the column you want to group products by and select Group This Column.

Result of groupingGrouping of items can also be done on several levels.

For the Wine category, we want to group products by producer, so we enable grouping by the Producer attribute. At the same time, we don't want to mix red and white wines, so we turn on grouping by the Type attribute, which indicates the color of the wine.

Multi-level grouping

To ungroup by a column, you must right-click in a column header and select Ungroup Column.
