Table Settings Browser
In Quant, a plenty of tables you work with on a daily basis, can be found. You often set the table exactly as you wish and you would like to save the settings to be available at any time so that you do not to have to set the table again. This is exactly what Table Settings Browser available for every table in Quant is used for.

- How to save the table settings?
- How to open the criteria that you have saved in the Table Settings Browser?
- How to overwrite an existing configuration with a new one?
In Table Settings Browser you can save several settings and click between them as necessary.
Table settings refer to the following:
- Setting the order of columns
- Hiding of some columns
- Changing the columns width
- Sorting of items (e.g. in alphabetical order)
- Filters
Table Settings Browser icon can be found above every table:
In Project Editor, we can edit table settings for example for table in the Category Products tab. The following changes will be made in the table:
- We will move the Producer column by several columns backwards
- We will hide the Created column
- We will extend the Product Primary ID column
- We will set product sorting based on the Product Primary ID value
- We will set a filter to show only products from the Producer SLOVEPO, s.r.o.
We will save this setting to be able to use it later.
How to save the table settings?
There are two ways to save your settings:
- Click on the Table Settings Browser icon and select Save as New Configuration.
2. Open Table Settings Browser and click on the New button.
This operation saves your criteria that will appear in Table Settings Browser:
How to open the criteria that you have saved in Table Settings Browser?
Criteria saved in Table Settings Browser can be opened and then table will be displayed based on them at any time. You have to options how to do it:
1. Click on the Table Setttings Browser icon and select the required settings.
2. Open the Table Settings Browser and click on the Apply to Table button.
The table will be adjusted according to the settings.
How to overwrite an existing configuration with a new one?
If you do not want to save the criteria as new, but you only wish to overwrite the old table configuration with the new one, click on the Load from Table button and then on the Save button.
By clicking on the Load from Table button, you will always overwrite the configuration that you have marked in Saved Settings Browser and overwrite the marked configuration with the new one. If you want to keep the old configuration and also create a new one, you have to click on the New button.
In Table Settings Browser, you can change the name for the settings in the right panel. You can also adjust the configuration.
By selecting the setting in Table Settings Browser and clicking on the Remove button, the saved setting will be removed.
If you want to return to the original table settings, just click on Reset to Default.
Table Settings Browser can be used for any table in Quant.
