Basic Topics
Products
In Quant, you manage your product library in the Products section. Products are usually created and updated via import but you can also make bulk edits, create new products, edit product images or create product packages in the Products section.
Categories
Categorisation should reflect the needs of customers. Appropriate categorisation of products is key to analyse the sales space. You can manually set up categories in Quant or you can import or generate the entire categorization automatically. This section describes in more detail how to create and set up categories.
Floor Plan Layers
The floor plan of a store may consist of objects such as walls, fixtures, marketing materials or situational photos. It is usually useful to divide these objects into the same logical units in all stores using layers. Floor plan layers are also a great tool for planning seasonal changes.
Stores
Quant includes a Store Editor with advanced features for efficient sales space management. Thanks to built-in analytics, you can make decisions about the distribution of sales area into individual departments and then about the layout of product categories. With the help of the manuals in this section you will learn how to operate the tools for working with components (inserting, copying, rotating fixtures...), edit fixtures including more complex types such as hanging systems or save fixtures into the library.
Planograms and Projects
Planograms are created in Quant in the Project Editor where all stores for a given network are grouped together so that planograms can be shared easily and efficiently between similar stores. In this section, you will learn more about how to work in the Project Editor, how to create a planogram and what tools and analysis you might find useful.
Optimized Planograms
Thanks to the unique concept of planogram templates, it is completely natural in Quant to automatically create planograms optimized according to sales, space and business criteria. Each store will receive planograms tailored to its spacial layout with the number of facings corresponding to sales and logistics requirements.
Standalone Planograms
Quant allows you to create planograms without any connection to floor plans. This solution is ideal for suppliers or agencies who need to efficiently create standalone planograms. In the Planogram Editor, you can simply configure a fixture and create a planogram that can then be exported.
Tables
Quant has a large number of tables in which items can be easily filtered, sorted, reordered or searched. Many functions that can be used in the tables will make your daily work in Quant easier.
Users
You can create users and manage their rights yourself in Quant. It is also possible to create user groups and manage rights for the entire group of users.
