Project Editor

The Project Editor is used for the management of planograms for a group of stores and categories that are included in the project. It allows a planogram to be created for several stores at once. Planograms are published in the Project Editor and thereby visible for stores on the web interface.

The project is where the planograms are created for the fixture located in the floor plan of the stores. You can include any number of stores in a project and create planograms for them at once.

Project Editor Structure

The Project Editor is divided into several sections and tabs which help to use the Project Editor with more ease.

Hierarchy in the Project Editor

When you open the Project Editor, the floor plans of all the stores included in this project are automatically analyzed and the fixture from the stores is automatically grouped together to create a project hierarchy.

Actions over the hierarchy in the Project Editor

It is possible to do several actions over the hierarchy in the Project Editor, which are then applied to all the fixtures in the group, so it is a very good place for bulk actions.

Icons in Hierarchy

The icons in the navigation section of the project (in the Hierarchy tab) show a lot of useful information, such as what life cycle state the planogram is in or the type of template (global or local).

Creating a Planogram

In the Project Editor, under the Planogram tab, planograms are created for embedded fixture in the floor plan that has an assigned category.

Planogram Template in the Project Editor

The planogram template is used to insert the products you want to have in the planogram. You can also copy and paste products into other planogram templates, change the alignment of products on a shelf, or add splitters and labels for individual shelves.

Signs in the Template

Blocks in the template can be marked with different tags. Each tag has a specific meaning and informs about a certain property of the block.

Block Editation

You can set a lot of additional information to the inserted block (product) in the planogram template, such as number of pieces to width/height/depth, package, position, rotation, adjusted measurements of the package and more.

Lifecycle of Planogram

The finished planogram is published to a specific lifecycle state in the Project Editor under the Lifecycle tab. Publishing a planogram to a specific lifecycle state makes it available to the stores on the Quant website.
